I want my 45 minutes back. I don't ask for much, give me David Tennant flashing that smile and I can forgive almost practically anything, but nothing can forgive the atrocity that was this episode.

This was yet another example of why I am over the moon that Russell will be stepping down as head writer at the end of the current season, to allow a more talented writer in the form of Stephen Moffat to take over, perhaps then we will no longer be subjected to this kind of rubbish.

Dear wonderful flist. Is there anyone around who might be able to take a look at a piece of art that I'm working on for the artword comm. You know when you stare at something for too long and you begin to convince yourself that it's all completely rubbish, well I'm kind of at that point. I need an outside opinion, there's something not quite right, and I can't figure out what it is.

Woohoo! I've just finished my first piece of art using photoshop, ever. I've been looking at all the wonderful art that's been created for the community painted_spires and got inspired to give it a go. It's quite intimidating when you first start. Really I had no idea what I was doing, so considering I have never actually used photoshop before I'm quite pleased with the results

As ever, feedback is craved, loved and appreciated.

Well, I thought that I would share some of the pictures that I took while I was in Canada with you all. I'm slowly sorting through them all, I managed to take around 2000 in the end, most of them during the con.

Unfortunately I can't share my set tour photos with you all, because MGM will sue me. But I can show you some of the pics that I took while at the con. I thought I'd start with my Kavan pics.

So unfortunately I'm back from my jaunt in Canada. I'm now suffering from jetlag, which I've never had before, and it totally sucks. I was up at 3am yesterday, and today it was 4am, hence the fact that I'm posting at this ridiculously early time of the morning.

I have to go back to work today as well, which sucks even more.

But I promise once I find my usb cable for my camera, there will be pictures, lots of pictures of some very pretty men at the con.

For anyone who's in England and hasn't realised yet, the tickets have been released for "Meet the Hewletts" thisissirius and I just bought our tickets, and they're limited to 300.

WOOHOO!!! I get to meet David again.

OMG! YOU GUYS!

Right now I'm sitting in the lobby of my hotel here in Canada. Without realising it I managed to book a hotel that sits directly opposite the entrance to Bridge Studios. Quite a sight to wake up to in the morning.

Rode the sky train this morning and we managed to see Jason's pink cadillac sitting in the lot of the studio as we rode past.

We also met two of the Vancouver Canucks, which excited [Unknown LJ tag] more than me. I had no idea who they were. I may have to watch a game or two now though.

Vancouver is gorgeous, except, you know, for the weird plastic stealing people!!

I'm off to enjoy the Canadian sunshine, after yesterday when we had hail I think I should make the most of it.

Well this is it. I leave for Canada at 7.30 tomorrow morning. I'm just about to go to bed although I don't really know if it's worth bothering, I'm so excited that I doubt I'll sleep anyway.

Well, I say I'm excited but at the moment I'm swinging between unbelievably excited and completely petrified. First time that I go away for a holiday without the parentals and I have to go half way around the world.

Anyway, you're all probably getting fed up with my ranting on about Canada by now, so I'll leave it at that.
