HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Hope you all had a good New Year. I did. It has sort of become an annual thing for my family and I to have a party at our house. This year was no exception. I, once again got completely drunk (I should point out here that I am not an alcoholic, and when I say once again, I speak in a New Years Eve tradition kind of sense. I don't really drink often which is part of the problem when it comes to be being a complete lightweight).
I woke up this morning to find that I had just crashed in the middle of the living room floor at some point which I don't remember. At least they were kind enough to cover me over, rather than just leave me. There are horrendous pictures of me, doing some truly worrying things. Along with the hangover that I am still nursing, I also have a really sore elbow, and a few bruises (Apparently I almost took a nose dive down the stairs, hit my head on a candle, and no one seems to know how I hurt my elbow.) I thing that did make me feel a little better though is that apparently I am quite graceful, even when drunk. Apparently I even manage to fall unconscious on the floor gracefully. Not sure how this is possible, but whatever *shrubs*
So it's at this point where I should probably be making some New Years resolution about not drinking. Yep, I say it after every time, and it never happens. So that is one resolution that I will not be making. I am however stealing the 100 things meme, that I saw on
krazykipper's journal.
2008 has been a pretty amazing year for me, mostly. I've done a lot of things that I didn't think that I would, and I'm hoping that 2009 will continue the trend.
I've made a lot of great new friends last year, and I hope to get to know you all better in 2009.
